Skitch is fun to use. I’ve enjoyed devising a little graphical language with it. Conventions:
1. Title in red
2. Captions in blue
3. Caption arrows in blue
4. Direction of sun: Yellow arrow
5. Direction of wind: White arrow
6. Heat source or sink: Red arrow
7. Metric: Black type with black arrow to instrument
8. Area of interest: Blue dots surround
9. Area for work: Green dots surround
10. Decision points: Red circle around area, red caption arrow
Skitch seems to simple, but there’s a lot you can do with it. And somehow, the whole complex scaffolding of File, Edit, View… Help has gone away. I do tap the virtual keyboard, and that’s awkward, but it feels even more awkward to use the BlueTooth keyboard.
